About our Spot
SPOT (School for One) began with a powerful question:
What if school was built around the child — not the other way around?
Traditional classrooms often focus on what's missing, not what's possible. They leave little room for flexibility, creativity, or individuality — especially for neurodivergent, gifted, and twice-exceptional learners.
SPOT is a microschool designed to change that. We offer personalized, strength-based, and future-ready learning, where every child follows a path shaped by their interests, pace, and potential. Instead of cramming for exams, learners build portfolios and grow through mentorship and community exposure.
Here, agency, curiosity, and expression are not extras — they’re essentials.
SPOT is part of the Kiggle Experiential Learners Education Foundation, a Section 8 non-profit.

Our Story
SPOT began when we realized that the traditional school system often doesn’t work for children who think differently. Many learners are left feeling unseen, unheard, and unsupported. We created SPOT to change that — a place where learning is personal, flexible, and joyful.
